The Shepherd has called home another member of his flock   Hazel Patricia Holder, departed this world for an everlasting life with her God on Friday, October 2, 2009. She was born on November 1, 1939 at Georgetown Public Hospital, Guyana, SA, to (the late) Edward and Daisy Oliver. She was the foster    daughter of Joseph and Aida Carter, sister of Rudolph, Robby, Phyllis, Edgar, Enid, Lucile, (the late) Elsie, Berly, Bernice, Shirley and Rita Austin.

Hazel met and married Eustace Holder. This forty~nine year union produced eight loving children: Anthony, Michael,        Annette, Mark, Terrance (deceased), David, Paul and Peter,    grandmother of Gwendolyn (Miriam), Antoinette, Aren, Daniella, Rehanna and Mikendra, great grandmother of Baby Zheden, mother-in-law of Gweneth, Amanda and Sandra. She holds close to her heart her adopted children Ulric of Holland, Lewa, Leotha, Kym, Cleveland and her little David, sister-in-law of Frank, Enid, St. Clair, Desiree, Hershal, Cecil, Norma, Edearl, Alphonso, also (the late) Dunsford, Egbert, Charles and Joyce, aunt of Tessa, Patricia, Pinky, Diane and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Hazel (Patsy) attended Christ Church Anglican School, after which she worked as a Seamstress at Aero Garment Factory. On April 15, 1983 Hazel migrated to the United States with her family. She worked as a Home Health Aide after which she    became a fulltime home maker. She nurtured and cared dearly for all her children and everyone she came in contact with. Her heart and home was open to everyone. She spent countless hours feeding the hungry, collecting clothes for those less      fortunate and praying for the sick. This was her life work The life of a Missionary.

Mother, though your smile is gone forever. Your words of     encouragement we hear no more, your warm embrace has left us, we know you left us a life time of memories you will always be in our hearts.
