OBITUARY
God saw James H. Scott Jr’s footsteps faulter. He knew his pathway had grown too steep, so on November 24, 2009, he touched his eyelids and gave his dear one sleep.
James who was affectionately known as “Jamar” was born on June 24, 1962 in Mercy Hospital in Nassau County.
James Howard Scott Jr., was born to Dolores Doyle-Scott and the late James Howard Scott Sr. Jamar was raised in Jamaica, Queens until he was nine years old. He then moved to Bushwick Projects in Brooklyn, New York, were he remained until his passing. He attended P.S. 147, I.S. 49 and graduated. He then attended Eastern District High School and went on to graduate from Job Corps.
Jamar was a strong kind-hearted person who would give his last to put a smile on someone else face and would lend a helping hand when asked. Jamar was employed for many years at Mitsubishi Bank.
He was the proud father of four children one is Jamar Holmes “JJ”.
He then met and married Carol Mack from this union he became the proud father of one son Qwallique, one daughter Precious, the proud grandfather of three grandsons, Qwarviss, Kobe and Little Qwallique, one grand daughter Allyni.
He leaves to mourn four children, his mother Dolores Doyle-Scott, three sisters: Debra Scott, Charrise Davis and Denise Morton, one brother Terry Scott, one sister-in-law Rhonda Scott, two brothers-inlaw Glenn Davis and Michael Morton, nieces and nephews: Latasha, Kamillia, Marquel, Whitney, Ashley, Alyna, Earl, Latisha, Yakacen, Malik, Natiqua, Tareemea, Taquan, Tiffany, Ebony, Devine, Omar, Destiny, Malcolm, Kevin Jr., and Taniyah. James also leaves to mourn aunts and uncles: Florence, Carolyn, Pamela, Joyce, Jean, Connie, Donna, Alvin, Bernard, Victor and a host of relatives, cousins, friends
