Mr. Clifford A. Harvey

lifford Albert Harvey (SONNY) was born on april 14th 1949 in brooklyn Ny to his loving mother ruth ellamae Harvey and loving father clifford A.Phelps. While growing up in a household of love, joy and laughter with all his siblings, Clifford was definitely the apple of everyone's eye. while growing up clifford loved to sing doowop music and emulate his most favorite groups such as the spaniels and the jive five, he was always ready to entertain anyone who asked him to, that's why his baby sister kim would always call cliff her forever loving teenager, because of his forever young, cool demeanor and his sunny dispositon. Clifford was always easy to talk to. no matter what was going on in life, he would always give you a smile the only way sonny could, a hug and tell you everything is gonna be alright. Clifford loved to be around his big brothers, laughing and joking constantly, going on hunting trips and playing the occasional prank on each other, was their way of showing how much they loved and cared for one another. Clifford attended and graduated from brooklyn automotive high school in 1967. his love of cars and racing was just another hobby that clifford had a passion for, building modal airplanes was just another way he showed his fun side. Making his family proud,Clifford was later inducted into the united states Army, where he continued to rise in rank as a sergeant with medals in combat and heroism with the V-device. Always beaming with pride it was something we can all agree he held dear to his heart. One thing is for certain, Clifford will always be known as ELIVIS THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL, no one could sing, dance or put on a show like SONNY. in 1976 on New Years Eve Clifford married the love of his life, His THEA, together they enjoyed many years with love and laughter until her passing in november of 2007. From there Cliffored enjoyed being a father to his three children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, his love support and kindness was forever constant, and is something that will remain in our hearts forever. Clifford went home to rest with his wife on may, 13th, 2021 at jamaica Hospial, our lives will never be the same, we will love and miss him forever. Clifford leaves to mourn his passing, his son mario, daughters veronica and alexandria, grandchild arnold, dimitria, jordan, saige, Thea, jaylyn, tusheena, khalia, rosie and lee. his great grandchildren Marquis, Mekhi,royal, nair, and ethan. son-n-law ronald, Vaughn. brothers-n-law joesph calhoun, and rolando simmons. brothers Clyde, richard, robert and ronald. sisters kim and Carol. Sisters-in-law Carolin , Sherry and Deloris. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. Clifford is preceded in death by his mother ruth, his father Clifford, His wife Thea, mother-in-law lillian, brothers-in-law robert calhoun, marvin sanders, julian baxter sister-in-law earline, his brothers william, wayne his sister joan and his daughter-in-law ellen sanders. We will miss him and love Him forever, May He Rest In Eternal Peace.
