Ernest Junior Mack

Ernest “Junior” Mack was born on July 6th, 1951 to the late Ernest Mack and the late Maggie Mack. On November 26th 2016 God called his loving child home. He was educated in the New York Public School system. Where he graduated from East New York Vocational High School. He worked at Building Cabinet for several years, then transitioning to College Maintenance for Cooper Union for 9 years. Junior was a family man who loved his children unconditionally. Junior also was a father to many. He was a dedicated loving friend, partner and companion to his wife of 43 years. Junior and Rita’s union has a history of laughter and joy, that will last a lifetime. They’re love for music and one another defines love. They were inseparable as a couple who lived for the enjoyment of life. They partied together and played practical jokes on friends and family. The duo was unstoppable with their dance acts to their family nights of jokes. Junior had such a way where his character left and impression on so many lives. So many called him Dad, Friend, Brother etc. that was the fascination left in many hearts for Junior. He was a man who gave his self beyond for the sake of others. Junior enjoyed playing pool, lottery numbers and especially his fashion. Junior will be missed by miles of people that was enriched by him, even if it was a simple yet sincere (hello). When you remember, Junior remember he was a man we all wish to have in our lives within our lifetime. Ernest “Junior” Mack He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Rita Ann Mack, his daughters LaKeshia Stanley, Shakia Mack (Velma), LaQuaisa Mack and his sons Ernest Troy Mack (LaToya), Dahnell Cranford. 5 Grandchildren Synai, Knecos, Alivia, Shakia and Za’Raih. His sisters Ernestine Whigham, Birdie Bush, Edith Mack, Georgianna Lewis and Eunice Mack. His brother Willie Mack, Brother-in-law Wilbert Kee, Sister-in-law Adele Kee and host of Nieces, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great Nephews and Friends. Junior you’re my best friend, my buddy and my confidant. My main man who thought everything I did was the joint. My dance partner who put on the dance acts with me and never practice our love for music made us one. The way you made me smile and laugh “oh yeah remember the time you chased me around market when I was with my mother” will be something I will never forget. You were a great father to our children and was always in my corner. The 43 years we have built together brought a bond that could never be broken. I Love You, I’ll always miss you Junior. A Tribute to Junior From your son Troy – Dad you were a great father, my best friend that told me I could do anything in this world the sky is the limit. I learned how to dress from watching you, I also learned that your watch had to match your hat or it didn’t look good. I loved our Sunday watching the game together and if we weren’t together we watched over the phone. When I brought a watch and hat that I knew I had to buy two sets and you did the same. I loved waking up to your text messages and talking to you about anything and you didn’t judge. Dad I love you, you will always have a place in my heart. From your daughter Quay - I cannot believe your gone Dad, you were my best friend and better half. We shared a bond nobody understood but, loved it. Not only were you a father to me, you were everyone else that hung around me. My friends said you were the man… everything I have ever asked for you gave me. That is why I was your spoiled brat. I am going to miss you sending me to the mailbox every 5 minutes, sending me to the store to play your numbers, the text messages you sent me each morning never missing a day even if I was just in the next room. I will never forget the great memories we have, I looked up to you so much I wanted to smell like you. I even dressed like you, I loved being called “Lil Mack”. Dad watch over the family you will forever be in my heart. From your great niece/daughter Naomi – Thank you for all the support and love that you have given me throughout the years. You were the definition of a great husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. I cherish the private chats we had whenever I saw you I thank you for always encouraging me to finish school. I can remember, every time I saw you, I would give you a hug and kiss you would wait to ask me “How is School” no matter how many times you asked I was always happy to answer “school is good Dad”. I’m going to keep our numbers in so don’t worry, $1.50 straight and $1.50 box. I love you more than words could ever express and I am going to miss you so much. Thank you Keshia, Shakia, Ernest and Quay for sharing your father with me and my sisters.
