Evangelist Joyce Ann Ferguson

Evangelist Joyce Ann Ferguson (Pee-Wee) born June 7, 1951, was called home to be with the Lord on September 18th, 2019. She was born to the late Lois Sadie and Hodges Ferguson. She was the wife of the late Raymond Campbell. Joyce was known as being outspoken, caring, considerate and full of life. She was also known for being a very strong spirited woman. Joyce attended school in the Virginia educational system. She received Christ at an early age. She later met, fell in love and married Raymond Campbell Sr. on June 27, 1970. From that union were born three children. Cassandra Ferguson, Jerome Campbell (deceased), and Shakiki Ferguson. After being separated from her husband, she later met and became devoted to John Sesame and from that loving relationship was born John Ferguson. Joyce served and dedicated over 40 years at New York City Housing Authority and the community she loved so dearly. She began as a volunteer and worked her way up to Community Center Director of several locations throughout Brooklyn NY. She retired from her labor in June 2007, and moved to Midlothian VA. She was known at work for being hard working, having a kind heart and a warm smile. Joyce joined Free Mission Apostolic Church under Bishop Walter Dunlap where she continued her spiritual education. She faithfully and whole heartedly sang on the choir and attended prayer and bible study. Joyce later joined the Disciples Of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Church under Pastor Apostle Curtis Leon Magazine, where she received extended spiritual biblical teaching and was later ordained Evangelist. We are thankful for the life of the beautiful Evangelist Joyce Ann Ferguson. She will truly be missed but her soul will live on forever more. Into heavens gates, she joins those who have gone on before her. She was met by her mother Lois Ferguson, her father, Hodges Ferguson, Her husband, Raymond Campbell Sr. Her son, Raymond Campbell Jr. Her Brother Robert Perkins, her sister Bonita Perkins, and lots of family members that couldn't wait to greet her. Joyce leaves to cherish her memory: Two daughters, Pastor Cassandra Ferguson of Virginia Beach Virginia, Shakiki Irizarry of Union New Jersey and one son John Ferguson of Midlothian Virginia. 1 Son In Law Daniel Irizarry. 1 daughter in law Gezelle Ferguson. 3 Granddaughters, Tyliqua Ferguson, Shanielle Ferguson and Nechelle Washington. 5 Grandsons, Christian Battle, Tristan Battle, Donte Coulter, John Ferguson Jr, and Jaydon Irizarry. 1 Great Granddaughter Abigail Ferguson. 2 Brothers, Hodges Ferguson Jr. and Daniel Ferguson. 2 Sisters, Wemona Green and Evangelist Julia Lloyd. 2 Brother in Laws, Vincent Green and Ira Lloyd. 2 Aunts Ruby Tunney and Louise Perkins both from Farmville Virginia. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and dear friends. Joyce was a faithful warrior of GOD, a devoted wife, loving mother. An amazing sister, an awesome Grandmother, loyal Aunt, caring Cousin and trusted friend who fought a good fight and she won the race. At the finish line she received her wings. The crown of righteousness is laid upon her head which the Lord has made her anew. Although we loved her dearly, GOD loved her best.
