Mr. Paul Norman Harris Jr

Paul Norman Harris Jr. ( Mr. GQ himself) was born May 29, 1955 to the late Paul Harris Sr. And Gladys Harris. The first Son of Seven siblings, Paul was known as a loving and understanding brother, who was the thread of the entire family. Paul, often referred to as “Bar King ” was an authentic New Yorker. He attended NYC public schools and graduated from James Madison High School and Job Corp where he completed a trade as a Carpenter. He would later spend his work career enterprising off his skills in Carpentry, Interior design and Maintenance. A 20 year union member of 32BJ. The Atlantic Plaza Towers in Brooklyn, New York was his most recent position. Besides being an engaging and Loving father to Two beautiful daughters Oaciereena “Nu Nu” Davis and Lisa Collazo, it was much understood that his grandchildren were his joy. He was proud of each and every one of them and he wanted the world to know it! His relationship with Christ was the only thing that superseded his love of family and friends. As a worshipping member of Church, Paul took pride in fellowship and service. Spending time with his choir buddies and brothers and sisters of Recovery was amongst his favorite things to do.We should all remember his love for Travel, Martial Arts and fashion. Above all Fashion. He never ever took a day off from dressing Fly: On the evening of April 22, 2018, Paul was met at Heavenly Gates by Our Lord, his Mother and Father, Brother Jerome, Niece Joyce and the rest of his family and friends. But he did not depart before showing us all a “ True Champion”. One of the last statements he made on earth was “ I Got Jesus” and we believe he would want us all to have the same. He leaves to cherish his memories and laughter, his Wife / trusted friend Lynn Harris, his daughters Oaciereena Davis and Lisa Collazo, his Grandsons Robert, Louis and Jahlil. His Grand-daughters Janae,Tiara, Tionna, Aniyah and Amirah. One Great- Grandson Jalen. His God-Daughter Precious Harris, his Godson Quran Harris, Brother Anthony Harris, his sisters Clara, Lillian, Ellissa and his “Baby Sis” Paulette, Leon and Sam , (His Soul-Brothers), Steve his Sponsor and his loving companion Dishorne ( Liz) Blassingame and a whole host of Nephews, Nieces and Family. “ If your scared of dying, then you’ve never ever really lived” -Paul Harris Sr. / Paul Harris Jr.
