Ms. Daisy Foster-Garrison

Daisy F. Garrison was born in Chester County, South Carolina on April 26th, 1935 to Harvey & Lula Wilson and peacefully transitioned on September 26th, 2019. Daisy was preceded in death by her parents Harvey Wilson And Lula Wilson-Young; daughter Roslyn Garrison; siblings-John Wilson, Dan Wilson, James Roseborough, Gloria Dean Rainey; and grandson Bruce Dequan Garrison. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory two (2) sons John and Bruce Garrison; three (3) daughters Lula Foster, Vera Garrison-Hughes (Alvin) and Ellen Hall; one (1) sister Evelyn Wilson; one (1) brother Alfonso Wilson; two (2) sisters-in-law Winifred (Winnie) Garrison and Rosebell Roseborough; thirteen (13) grandchildren Sharon Foster (Gerald), John H. Strong Jr. (Brandi), Jacqueline Thomas, O’Neal Jordan, Tina Garrison-Nuñez (Miguel), Latonya Jordan, Kevin Hughes (Latoya), Tishona Hall, Shekeena Hall-Peterson (Karleas), Tiffany Hall, Tiona Hall, Aaron Harrison; one (1) step-grandson Alvin L. Hughes Jr.; sixteen (16) great-grandchildren; five (5) great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, caring friends and other loving family members. Daisy’s love for her family and friends was always on full display. She worked tirelessly to provide for her children, often sacrificing to ensure they not only received what they needed but also satisfying their wants. As a true matriarch of the family, she continued this display of love to the next generation. Family and friends always knew they could have a good meal, words of truth, and unadulterated love and support. Many a Sunday dinner or Bar-b-que was made in love by Daisy, to ensure that the family bond remained strong and intact. Daisy took pride in seeing the growth and accomplishments of her legacy and often spoke about how blessed she was to have witnessed five generations thriving. Though we will miss Daisy, our flower, she will forever bloom within our hearts as we continue to water, nurture and honor her memory through love.
