Timothy Grey Maxwell

TIMOTHY GREY MAXWELL, the Fifth son born to the late John Maxwell and Elizabeth Roberts Maxwell. On March 13,1956 in Galax Virginia. Timothy departed this life on, Sep- tember 21, 2023 at 6:10 pm at Brookdale Hospital with loving a daughter, grandson and family members at his bedside at 6:10pm.God release his angels onto Timothy (Tim) to bring him home. Timothy proceeds his loving wife Williemae (Tee Tee), His loving daughter Shalon (Sherise) Maxwell. Timothy was educated at Old Town elementary, in Galax Vir- ginia. His parents later migrated to New York City, where Timothy continued his education and graduated from South Shorel High School.Tim worked in Law Enforcement, and did construction. He also worked in the Shelter for homeless people, Tim later met Willemae (Tee Tee) Simmons, joined in Holy Matrimony in1976 and out of that union two beautiful daughters, Shalon (Sherise) Maxwell, and his baby, Yvonne Takiyah Maxwell, who always said "I Love You Dad, He will always answer her by saying "I Love Baby". Tim loved the Lord, He always loved to go to church with wife on Sundays. Tim was a math wiz, he loved to dance and watch football. Tim always loved to eat his steak and potatoes.Tim was well known in his community. He was known for his sharp suits and being well dressed and also love his baseball caps. He was always willing to help others, espe- cially putting up ceiling fans in the development. He al- ways look out for the kids in the community. He was love by everyone in the community.Tim, known as Dad, leaves to cherish the memory of His life, one daughter, Yvonne Maxwell, Two Grandsons, Shawn Maxwell, Brooklyn, NY, Donte Maxwell, Brooklyn NY Three Great granddaughters Ariel, Amiyah and Dallas Maxwell. Timothy and Williemae Maxwell adopted Two girls, Tyechia Zimmerman Calhoun, and Traniece Zim- merman. (Brianna and Chassity Zimmerman, Brittany and Louis Calhoun) grands. Six Brothers Wayne Maxwell, New Jersey, Bobby Maxwell, Larry Maxwell, Raymond Maxwell, Kenneth Maxwell and Lacey Maxwell all of Brooklyn, NY Hosts of Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, brother/sisters in law and Friends. Three very special Cousins Timothy Loved, Ella lee, (Pennsylvania), Gretta Hope, (Virginia) and Deborah Roseman Maxwell. (North Carolina) He had a special person he love to sit down and talk to Michael (Mike) Williams and a very good friend Lionel Watson.
